The New Fargo DTC4500 Dual-Sided ID Card Printer
The Fargo DTC4500 ID dual-sided (Fargo 49100) card printer delivers
high-volume performance with maximum security. Featuring high capacity
ribbon supplies, dual input hoppers and built-in password protection the
single-sided DTC4500 is designed for organizations that require robust,
high-volume printing on a daily basis.
Versatility and Security - With a robust and
highly-reliable print engine, this printer delivers speed, power and
versatility rolled into one. The DTC4500 is able to produce
ID cards using two different printing methods. Dye-sublimation printing
allows for vivid color and accurate images. Thermal transfer or resin
thermal transfer creates sharp black text and bar codes that are easily
read by infrared or visible light scanners. The DTC4500 features a
user-friendly SmartScreen graphical display offering easy setup and
printing status notifications making the DTC4500 simple to use. The
built-in password protection guarantees secure printing which along with
optional fluorescent ribbons for Ultra-Violet or UV printing and
optional lamination modules make the DTC4500 highly secure. Furthermore,
the dual-sided DTC4500 offers field-upgradable options to even higher
levels of security and printer output.
Module and Encoding Options - The Fargo DTC4500
(Fargo 49100) dual-sided printer offers field-upgradable modules for
encoding data for magnetic stripe, proximity, contact and/or contactless
technology cards such as iCLASS for access control and other
applications.

Easy Intergration - Featuring standard high speed
USB and Ethernet ports the DTC4500 dual-sided printer can easily
integrate anywhere you need it. With the built-in internal print server
you can install the DTC4500 on your existing network (LAN) allowing
remote access printing for high-volume card issuance without having the
printer directly connected to your computer.
Optional Lamination - Looking for an additional
layer of security? By applying overlaminates the Fargo DTC4500 can
produce tamper-proof, secure cards resistant to forgery. Furthermore,
optional high-speed dual-sided simultaneous lamination can save valuable
time. For an even higher level of security the DTC4500 offers custom
hologhraphic overlaminates for that additional layer of security and
protection against wear and tear. Note: the Fargo DTC4500 optional lamination requires dual-sided printing capability.
