One of the best features about the HDP5000 line of printers is its flexibility. Lamination modules may be purchased already integrated to the printer, or added later to enhance card quality. Users have a choice of laminates: either a plain overlaminate, or a customizable holographic film (or both!) may be used interchangeably. A laminated covering over an ID card makes a badge impervious to any kind of alteration - any attempts at changing visible data on cards would result in a visible marring of the cards surface.
