Credit Card Policies (for Fraud Protection)
1) Credit Card Processing
Please NOTE: We do not process charges online in real time due to the
high level of Internet fraud. We only process your credit card upon
verification with your bank or issuing Credit Card Company; you may
also receive an email from our Credit Card Merchant Processor noting
any charge activity or credits to your account.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as forms
of payment. Each credit card company has established policies and
procedures that we as a Merchant (seller) must adhere to. There are
responsibilities that you as the "buyer" must adhere which could
include proof that you are the "in fact cardholder" by means of
reasonable identification (business or other listed telephone number
with credit card company database that we can verify). Please contact
American Express @ 1-(800) 528-5200, Discover @ 1-(800) 347-2000, VISA
@ 1-(800) 228-1122 or MasterCard @ 1-(800) 826-2181 if you feel like
any of our "verification" policies are not in line with their
organizational policies. We work hard to prevent FRAUD and if you have
received an email from us implying that you have placed an order with MidHudsonID.com and you in fact have not, please inform us
immediately. Please be aware that we make all attempts to verify you as
the "real cardholder" prior to processing the charge.
We do not accept International Credit Cards
2) Credit Card Verification
For all card printers and orders over $250, we will contact you to verify that you have placed the order with us and to insure that you are ordering the right products.
3) Bill to Address Policy
Our Merchant system is secure and requires that we verify with the
issuing bank the "registered billing address" prior to approval or
shipment of your order. This is according to documentation determined
by the credit card Company that requires us to ship to the verifiable
billing address only.
4) Ship to Address Policy
An Alternative ship to address can be established if you wish. In
some cases you may have to contact your credit card issuer and add an
"Alternative Shipping Address" that can be verified by a merchant such
as MidHudsonID.com. This is an address that allows us upon
authorization by the credit card Company to ship to a different address
than the registered billing address. Many times you may be traveling
and need a product shipped to a hotel or friends - this address must be
verifiable in order for us to process your order. This is an accepted
process by all credit card Companies, their toll free numbers are in
the Credit Card Processing section of this page.
We thank you for your business and hope that you understand that in
today's times with the level of Internet credit card fraud approaching
billions of dollars in losses, we must adhere to the policies of the
issuing credit card company. These at time can require further
documentation than that of just an online transaction (copy of credit
card, ID or both).
We will fully prosecute FRAUD to the fullest extent of the law and
work with all law enforcement agencies and have cooperated with the
FBI, Secret Service and any other department to validate or help in
preventing FRAUDULENT use of credit cards and or checks!
We want to make your purchasing experience as easy and hassle free as
possible. Therefore, we offer the following payment options:

cards. Due to the high level of Internet fraud, we have instituted
strict policies on how we accept credit cards - we appreciate your
tolerance but we feel that this is the only way we can continue to
offer you exceptional prices (for more details see our Credit Card Policy).

For pre-approved customers, we will accept company Purchase Orders. All
U.S. Federal, state and local government agencies (including most
schools and libraries) are automatically eligible for payment by

|Do I have to pay sales tax?
||You only have to pay sales tax if you are located in New York State. Tax rates differ depending on the county and/or city.

|What are my payment options?
||During the checkout process you may choose any of our current payment options and continue to place your order. Please note that we will not ship your order until we receive payment from you.
|I need a copy of my receipt/invoice.

|When will my credit appear on my account?
||Credits usually take 7-10 business days from the time we receive your item(s).
|When will my credit card be charged?
||Your credit card will be charged within 24 hours prior to shipment of your item(s).
